BRF Acquires UAE-Based Halal Processor Americana Meats for $680M, Expanding Gulf Presence

BRF (owner of Sadia and Perdigao) completed the acquisition of Americana Meats, the UAE's largest halal meat processor, for $680 million. The deal gives BRF direct access to GCC retail shelf space for ~$2B in annual revenue. Chicken and processed meat integration expected by Q1 2027.
